臥式管道泵主要是由葉輪˙泵體˙泵蓋˙密封環˙軸封裝置˙托架和平衡裝置等所組成。各件作用分述如下。
(1)葉輪管道泵能輸送液體，主要是靠裝在泵體內葉輪的作用。它的尺寸，形狀和制造精度對泵的性能影響很大。
管道泵葉輪有閉式˙開式和半開式三種類型。閉式葉輪一般由蓋板˙葉片和輪轂組成。在吸人口一側叫前蓋板，后側叫后蓋板，中問為葉片，葉片一般
都是后彎的。開式葉輪沒有前后蓋板。半開式葉輪沒有前蓋板，但有后蓋板。

1˙ISW型管道泵適用于工業和城市給排水˙高層建筑增壓送水˙園林噴灌˙消防增壓˙遠距離輸水˙暖通制冷循環˙浴室暖水循環增壓,
以及各種給水設備˙鍋爐的配套。供輸送清水或物理˙化學性質類似清水的其它液體之用˙使用溫度不高于85℃。
2˙ISWR型管道泵適用于冶金˙化工˙紡織˙木材加工˙造紙以及飯店˙浴室˙賓館˙鍋爐熱水增壓循環和城市住房來暖循環等場合，
使用溫度不高于120 ℃ 。
3˙ISWD型底轉速管道泵適應要求環境噪聲很低的場合，使用溫度不高于100℃。

ISW、ISWR、ISWD系列臥式管道離心泵使用條件
1、系統zui高工作壓力為1.6MPa，即泵吸入口壓力 泵揚程≤1.6MPa
(泵系統工作壓力大于1.6MPa時應在訂貨時另行提出，以便在制造管道泵的過流部件和聯接部件時采用鑄鋼)
2、輸送介質為清水或物理化學性質類似清水的其它液體。
3、環境溫度≤40℃，海拔高度≤1000m，相對濕度≤95%。
